Hey, I'm Back

Mon Nov 21, 2005, 7:00 PM
For real this time.
As you can see I finally put up a new poem. It's a biographical piece of sorts, about coming home to find home almost completely altered. It was a spur of the moment angst and piano deal.

Anyway, I'm back in the Falls again, chilling with my twin ~little-librarian and all that good stuff. It's good to be back, really. I've been hanging out with old friends, checking out the same girls I checked out before I left last year. It's a weird experience for sure, so many f my acquaintances have altered slightly. I wish I had kept in better touch with everyone when I went away, it's almost like I have to meet these people all over again.

Who is this Mike guy?

A magical man with no life that's who. He widdles his time away by making poems about the world he observes. He preferes not to rhyme because it limits his word choice.
He enjoys pina coolatas and getting caught in the rain- well, maybe just getting caught in the rain. He like's the song "Pina Coolatas" though.

This has been a third person personal narrative thing by Micheal Edward Rauch- a man with too much time on his hands.

2005 Revolution, Spread The Love

Sat Jan 1, 2005, 4:06 PM
Courtship was replaced by "dating"
Marriage with "divorce"

Have we really made progress, replacing forever with "I'm yours till I find something I find unforgivable about you and ditch you for someone young and smart"?

They say gays and lesbians are destroying the sancanty of marriage. Does it really have any sancanty left after all these new rules? What happened to "in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, till death do us part"? Do those words mean anything anymore? Does LOVE mean anything anymore?

I guess not.

Who Am I?

Wed Nov 17, 2004, 1:47 PM
Well, no one has discovered my little page yet, but I feel a need to introduce myself. As this is a journal I suppose this must be the right place.

Who am I?
Good question, I'm a stranger here myself. The name is Micheal.

Why am I here?
I write free verse poetry and this seemec a good place to present it.

Any questions?
